Job Title: Controls Engineer

Salary: $65,000 (approx.)

Employee Type: Full-time

Location: Richmond, VA

Education: BS in electrical engineering

Experience: 5 or more years experience in the design, development, and support of electrical control systems for high-speed production, material handling or packaging applications. Experience with Allen-Bradley SLC500 or ControlLogic, Siemens Step7 or comparable PLCs and their software is required. Additional skills and experience with programmable drives and servo-motion robotics would be a definite plus.

Required Travel: Approximately 50% travel

Relocation Covered: Relocation and interview expenses are covered

Job Description: Our client's continued growth has created immediate need for two talented controls engineers. When not in the field supporting installation, startups, commissioning and system upgrades, you will be heavily involved in the design and development of new systems for a wide range of applications.
