Job Title: Project / process engineer

Salary: $70-80,000 per year

Education: 4-year (bachelors) degree in engineering / hard sciences, with preference for chemical engineering strongly preferred

Experience: At least five years in the plastics compounding industry; 3-4 years in project development activities

Job Description: Richmond-area client seeks an ambitious project engineer with demonstrated success in leading parallel engineering projects with variable time frames. The successful candidate will be a driver for dynamic growth, as well as developing relationships with the owners, developers and marketers of proprietary thermoplastic compounds. Duties include applications and project leadership in twin screw extrusion in a manufacturing environment; develop and execute a capital project plan on time / on budget; redesign and optimize current equipment.
