Job Title: Machinists - CNC and Conventional

Salary: $15-17 per hour

Job Description: Due to continued growth, well-established manufacturer located in Richmond is seeking several skilled Machinists for their Monday-Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am shift.  Overtime available.   

CNC Machinist position requires the ability to call up CNC program, setup the machine and operate it proficiently.  Although work is primarily production machining of precision parts, you will have opportunity to do machining in support of prototype development or enhancement of existing product line.

Conventional Machinist position requires the ability to proficiently operate  standard machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills, drills, grinders, etc.

Experience with mig, tig or stick welding would be a plus, but is not a requirement for either position.

Additional Notes: Position requires completion of 1000 hours (approx 5-6 months) at our client’s site as an employee of SHS Personnel.  At the conclusion of this period and having performed your duties in a satisfactory manner, our client will have the option to hire you as a direct employee.
